A LITTLE WORD KNOW-HOW

How to Use the Word Search Solver

Paste your grid and word bank to see matching paths.

Enter the right information

Put each board row on a new line, keeping the same number of letters per row. Enter target words separately. The helper checks straight lines in all eight directions, reports coordinates, and lists targets it cannot find instead of silently omitting them.

Work through an example

Try this input: CAT
ARE
TEN. Read the normalized input above the result list before using a suggestion. If a letter or rule looks wrong, correct the field and run the helper again. The displayed result count belongs to that exact set of constraints.

When no words match

Keep your input and check the most restrictive field first. Verify the length, repeated letters, blanks and excluded letters. Then relax one condition at a time. An empty result can be correct; the tool should never fill it with unrelated or invented words.
