A LITTLE WORD KNOW-HOW
Recovering Your Word Games Account
Use your recovery code carefully and keep it separate from your public display name.
Save your recovery code
The account screen shows a recovery code once when it is created or rotated. Store it privately. Your public display name is not a credential and cannot establish that an account belongs to you.
Use the recovery form
Enter the account username and recovery code to choose a new password. Successful recovery replaces the old recovery code. Keep the replacement so it is available next time.
Protect your progress
Do not paste a recovery code into public comments or use it as your display name. If you are still signed in, change the password through your account controls. Never promise that an account can be recovered from a public score alone.
